sunliquid® among the TOP3 in the category “automobility” at the GreenTec Awards 2015

sunliquid® has been selected for the GreenTec Awards 2015 in the category of “automobility”. A jury with represenatives from industry, academia, associations and the media nominated the sunliquid® technology among the TOP3 in their category.

sunliquid® stands for a sustainable and economic production of cellulosic ethanol from agricultural residues – a truly sustainable biofuel with up to 95% CO₂ emission savings without competing with food and feed production.

Every year, the GreenTec Awards honor innovative products and projects that lead the way towards a more environmentally friendly future. Criteria for selection included the project’s contribution to environment protection, its level of innovation, and whether the idea is a suitable messenger for more sustainable mobility. The nomination shows the great potential of the sunliquid® technology to contribute to a more sustainable mobility in Germany, Europe and worldwide.

On May 29th, 2015 the award ceremony will take place in Berlin where the winners will be announced. Through its exclusive cooperation with noted publishing houses such as ProSieben and WirtschaftsWoche, the GreenTec Awards is recognized as a sophisticated social event with wide media coverage.
